We can change the world

I know it's late, but suddenly a story pop out of my head and I can't remember where did I read or hear it, I just want to remember the whole story to be able to share it. but I just remember some of the details. The Short Story is all about a mother and a child crossing a river. The Mother asks her child to go grab her arms while they are crossing the river, The mother tells her child, the current is not that strong, but it may topple you down and current may swept you away. The child decline, And the mother ask, " Why not?." and the child tell the reason to her mother, If i grab your arm and i toppled down maybe i can't hold on tight and I maybe swept away. but if you hold me while crossing the river and i toppled down, I know you would not let me go.
